9/11 - 15 Years Later

Today, September 11, 2016, marks the fifteenth anniversary of 9/11.
A day we will never forget.
A day America woke up from its innocence and faced the realities of the world.
We were invincible until that day.
Well, almost.
Pearl Harbor woke us up too.
But we well asleep again.
9/11 changed our way of life.
We would never be the same.
Terrorism was real and it got worse.
No place is safe.
15 years of waiting for another strike.
We got them in the form of attacks against schools, churches, homes, in the streets and businesses.
Some homegrown while others came from abroad.
Prejudice here is at its worse since the 1960s.
Everyone has rights.
Except those who were right.
We were better before 9/11.
We better wake up again and take this country back from those who harm us no matter if it in intentional or unintentional.
Shootings must end.
Disrespect for the National Anthem must end.
Open borders must be closed.
Refugees must find another place.
The rights of some that take away the rights of the majority must end.
The right to pray is an American right as are Christmas displays, other holiday displays, the display of the flag and on and on.
We are losing our country.
9/11 was the beginning.
There will be an end.
Lets hope it is not our end.
